Privacy

The short version

The checker runs entirely in your browser. Your listing text, fact list and phrase lists are never sent to us or anyone else. We don't use analytics or tracking scripts, and no AI model reads your text.

What stays on your device

• Your draft, fact list, MLS limit and ignored flags are saved in your browser's localStorage so a refresh doesn't lose your work. Only this browser can read them. Clear them with the checker's Clear button or your browser's site-data settings.
• If you arrive from a link with utm_ tags, they're kept in sessionStorage for that visit so a purchase can be credited to the post you came from.
• Clean-check note and share buttons: the note is built in your browser and copied to your clipboard; we never see it. Shared links carry tags naming the button they came from (for example utm_source=cleancheck), never you. We count each share action as a daily total with no ID.
• The "Check with ListingLint" bookmark: reads only the text you select, only when you click it, and hands it to the checker tab with the browser's postMessage, addressed to this site only. It isn't put in a web address or uploaded.
• ListingLint Pro is a single file on your computer. Its brokerage phrase list is saved in that browser's storage, or exported to a file you control.

When you buy or sign up

• Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's checkout page. We get your name, email and what you bought, never your full card number. A tracking reference built from the link's utm tags (for example tiktok_launch_hook-07) may be attached to the checkout. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Rule-update emails (optional) are run by Zoho Campaigns. The signup form sends your email address and, if you give it, your first name straight to Zoho. Zoho emails you a link to confirm; you're only added once you click it. Zoho keeps your email, first name, the list you joined (ListingLint), when you signed up and confirmed (its record of your consent), and whether you open or unsubscribe from our emails. We send only rule-update notices. Your listing text is never part of the signup. We count signups as a daily total with no ID attached. See Zoho's privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from any email.
• Hosting is on Cloudflare Pages, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operations.
